High School in the USA
If you :
- are 15-18 year old
- have been studied English since at least 3 years
- have passed English test in Almatur (level below FC)
- will deliver school certificates from 3 last years (no repeating!)
- are independent, mature, flexible in new conditions, responsable and open-minded (your personnality will be analized during interview in Almatur)
- and first of all ready to spend one semester or year in the USA
you can be student of American high school and member of American family for one year.

About Program
Almatur was the first Polish tour operator to organize one-year study in high school in the USA. From 1990, we've given this possibility to about 800 people. We work with our American partners, such as Council and CHI.
Our partners cooperate with many schools in the USA.
You live with carefully selected host family.
Local coordinator can always help you and sends regular reports about your progresses to your parents.
As decided by the Ministry of Education, you don't lose year in Polish school if you pass special exams of differences between your American and Polish schools.
We guarantee DS-2019 form required for J-1 visa to stay and study legally in the USA.
Program lasts one year from September to June or one semester from September to January/from February to June. Think about your application in April (for one year or the 1st semester) or in September (for the 2nd semester).
Cost:
3 950 USD for 10 months (2 semesters) and 2 900 USD for 5 months (1 semester), insurance incuded
